I am sitting in the Vancouver airport on New Year's day morning getting ready for my flight back over to Europe. It was a bit of an early morning for New Year's but thankfully my night was quite mellow! I have just had a really great break in Whistler where I was able to get out and do some fun skiing! I don't get to do much of that in Europe when we are racing.

Next on the schedule for me will be a few giant slalom World Cup races, both in the Czech Republic and Slovenia. In the middle of January we will have the next speed races in Cortina, Italy. I am really looking forward to getting out there on my GS skis, especially since I will now be able to start after the top 30! I now have over 400 world cup points which allows me to start after the top 30.
